Authors must first register on the submission platform and accurately enter their personal information (and that of all co-authors). For each manuscript, the complete information of all authors must be registered in the system. It is essential to provide a mobile phone number, an email address (preferably an institutional or university-affiliated address), and complete institutional affiliation details, including academic position, department, faculty, and university.
Note: The “corresponding author” in the submission system refers to the individual who uploads the manuscript. This author will be the primary point of contact for the journal’s editorial office. The corresponding author in the system is responsible solely for communications; however, all authors bear equal legal responsibility for the manuscript. Due to the busy schedules of faculty members, students may designate themselves as the corresponding author when submitting a manuscript. Please note that the official basis for certification issued by the journal is the author information file (Word format) submitted upon acceptance; therefore, the corresponding author listed in the system may differ from the one indicated in the final author information file.
Note: Each author may publish only one article per year in the journal.
Important: Academic titles of authors may be edited prior to the online publication of the manuscript; however, no changes can be made after publication on the journal’s website.
Authors must complete and upload the following documents to the system, along with the manuscript file (submitted anonymously, without author names in the text or in the filename):
Author Commitment Form
Conflict of Interest Form
Author Contribution Form
Copyright Transfer Agreement
Note: The Conflict of Interest Form must include handwritten signatures and must be uploaded in PDF format. Electronic signatures are not accepted.
Note: In accordance with the regulations of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Scientific Journals, translated manuscripts are not accepted for review or publication.
Manuscripts must be original, scholarly, well-documented, and analytical. In compliance with national academic regulations, translated articles are not eligible for submission. Manuscripts must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. The original manuscript file must not contain author names or affiliations; author names and academic titles will be added only after final acceptance and must be uploaded in the revised version.
The length of the manuscript must be between 5,000 and 9,000 words.
Each article must include:
Title
Persian abstract (200–250 words, including purpose, methodology, and findings)
Keywords (5–7 keywords)
English title and abstract (200–250 words, including purpose, methodology, and findings)
English keywords (5–7 keywords)
Headings and subheadings must be numbered as follows:
Main sections (excluding Introduction and Conclusion): single-digit numbering (e.g., 1, 2, 3…)
Subsections: two-digit compound numbering (e.g., 1-1, 1-2, 1-3…)
Sub-subsections: three-digit compound numbering (e.g., 1-1-1, 1-1-2, 1-1-3…)
Following submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation through a scientific text-similarity detection system under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief. The decision regarding the suitability or non-suitability of the manuscript’s topic will be communicated to the author via email within a maximum period of 10 days.
The Journal of Financial and Economic Law Research employs a double-blind peer-review process, in which reviewers do not have access to the authors’ identities and authors remain unaware of the reviewers’ identities.
Acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is strictly based on the reviewers’ evaluations, and once the final decision is issued, it is non-modifiable.
Note: The typical duration of the review process is less than six months (provided that no major revisions are required). If the manuscript is accepted, it will be placed in the publication queue.
For manuscripts accepted for publication, authors must complete the following steps in order to receive the official “Acceptance Certificate” and proceed to the editing stage:
English Extended Abstract:
An English file in Word format including the title, authors’ names and academic affiliations, a detailed abstract of 700–1000 words, and 5–7 keywords.
Persian Extended Abstract:
A Persian file in Word format including the title, authors’ names and academic affiliations, a detailed abstract of 700–1000 words, and 5–7 keywords.
Note:
The Persian extended abstract must include the following four sections: Introduction, Methodology, Findings, and Conclusion.
The English extended abstract must include: Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion.
Translation of All References:
Given the journal’s ongoing efforts toward indexing in major international databases (notably Scopus), all non-English references (Arabic, Persian, French, etc.) must be translated into English. These, along with English-language sources, must be compiled in a single Word file in alphabetical order, with the language of each reference clearly indicated at the end.
Complete Author Contribution Form:
All pages of the Author Contribution Form must be completed and submitted in Word format.
Author Information File:
A Word file must be submitted containing the complete details of all authors in the correct order, including designation of the corresponding author and full institutional affiliations (academic rank, department, faculty, university).
Certain editorial revisions must be carried out by the author(s) under the supervision of the journal’s editorial staff. Authors are required to cooperate fully in revising the manuscript text, footnotes, and references. Failure to provide the required revisions will result in removal of the manuscript from the publication process.
Note: Authors are given only 3 days to address editorial comments sent by email during the editing stage. Failure to respond within the designated time frame will lead to withdrawal of the manuscript. Authors must use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to respond to the editor’s comments in the PDF file.
As respect for intellectual property rights is a core policy of the journal, any violation of these rights by authors will be formally reported to relevant authorities and institutions.
The editorial office reserves the right to summarize, revise, and edit accepted manuscripts.
Authors are obligated to update any information in the manuscript if necessary at the time of publication.
The journal reserves the right to publish accepted articles electronically.
Authors are solely responsible for the views and arguments presented in their manuscripts. Publication does not imply endorsement of the content by the journal.
