Aims and Vision of the Journal

The Journal of Financial and Economic Law Studies is a specialized scientific-research journal with open access and double-blind peer review, published by the Shahr Danesh Legal Research Hub (SDIL). The journal focuses on publishing original scientific-research articles, including empirical, analytical, comparative, theoretical, and applied studies, in the following main areas:

  • Financial law and capital markets
  • Economic law and economic regulation
  • Banking, monetary, and insurance law
  • Tax, customs, and public finance law
  • Corporate law, privatization, and special economic zones
  • Economic governance and interdisciplinary studies related to business

Journal Aims

  • To publish innovative research findings in financial and economic law, focusing on capital markets, banking, insurance, privatization, public finance, taxation, customs, and special economic zones.
  • To enhance the knowledge of the target audience (researchers, policymakers, and economic practitioners) and address financial-economic challenges in the country based on legal principles.
  • To produce new knowledge in legal literature, including comparative studies with leading countries.
  • To facilitate collaboration among scientific associations, research centers, industry, and executive bodies for the exchange of research outcomes.
  • To identify and solve emerging legal issues in financial-economic fields using an interdisciplinary approach.
  • To support elite research and conduct critical analyses of institutions and practices in strategic areas.

Journal Vision

The journal aims to become a reliable scientific-research reference at the national and international levels for legal-economic studies. It seeks to contribute to evidence-based policymaking, improve financial-economic governance, and develop knowledge-based legal frameworks, emphasizing innovation, scholarly dialogue, and strengthening the position of Iranian research in the global arena.
